Ok, I am a big film/video buff and like to burn videos to disc in order to play them on my DVD. I recently downloaded ImgBurn which I think is an awesome program after a previous program (ISO Image Burner) failed to create an ISO video file. The ISO Image burner would give me a "hardware error 148" message which I know is not accurate since I just had a factory restore done to my computer 2-days prior. Subsequently, I downloaded ImgBurn which appeared to successfully create the ISO Video file with the bell melody prompt at the end. There were no error messages etc...however, whenever I attempt to play the completed videos on the home DVD player, I get an error message "unsupported ____" or can't read date-type message. BTW, I choose to create ISO Video files by default because the videos I like to burn via Win7 DVD Maker will only burn videos that are in AVI format and won't load any MKV, MP4 etc.. I've done 2 different Wedding dvds in the past and burned several disks for each of them with no problem at all. However this time when I start a dvd burn it gets about halfway through the burn before it suddenly says "ejecting disk" and then proceeds to eject hardware error 148 the disk and give me the following message "Adobe Encore: Encore was unable to complete the operation because of a hardware error (Sense Code 52102). Please contact the hardware manufacturer for more information." As far as computers and indetail hardware goes I'm pretty lacking in knowledge to how or why this problem suddenly started Occurring on my computer all of a sudden, in my recent retries at burning the disk I do notice that in the beginning of the build process that Encore *stops responding* for a little while but then shortly resumes hereafter the hardware error will then occur a minute or so after the start. I'm not using a MAC and I've never had problems with speed before when using Encore before on this same computer until now. I've run several different virus scans to see if I had gotten some form of malware but the results never say that I do. I guess because I've never encountered a problem this bad before I'm kind of losing it right now and I'm on the edge of my rope right now trying to fix the problem if anyone can provide any means or explanation of helping me through this crisis please reply!
