Hardware Error 52102
code 52102) does anyone knows what this means?Sense Code 52102Sense code errors are almost always caused by some piece of software interfering in the communication problem between Encore and the burner. Please have a look at Things and Software to avoid when authoring for DVD-V.Sense Code 52102I had exactly the same issue and it was resolved thanks to the very helpful suggestion by Ruud Blauw - turning off the autorun functions on the DVD drive in XP sorted it out. Thanks to Ruud and the fabulous Adobe Forums.Anybody know how to solve this on a mac?Yours Anders KjemsAnders,You may have to interpolate a bit from Ruud's suggestions, to fit the Mac, but with a ''sensecode'' error, it is likely that you are experincing a problem with your burner, or the media you are attempting to burn to. I believe that both of these issues are addressed in Ruud's link. Sorry that I do not know the specifics of Mac systems, so someone else will have to translate from PC-speak to Mac-speak. Beyond the basics of confirming all the mechanics and the electronics (firmware, etc.) in your burner and using good media, I cannot offer anything more for a Mac. Sorry.Good luck,Huntdifference between vista Posted by Hayes at 8:08 PM No comments: Post a Comment Newer Post Older Post Home Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom) Transcoding hangs Blog Archive ▼ 2011 (45) ▼ December (45) So Many Errors So Little Time PGC Error ''Return to last menu'' malfunction. encore cs3...''empty project ''dialogue... I get the following message after a minute or so of work: Device Error - Sense Code(3 0c 00) - Write Error - Write (DVD Error 199680) I have an AOpen DUW1608/ARR Burner, and I'm using Memorex media, but i usually end up with a coaster or the program just copping out with this error as the end hardware error result. Any thoughts as to what's going on. I have updated to the latest firmware, and I'm using the Tryout Version of Encore 1.5. Check it using this tool: http://radified.com/Files/aspichk_4712.exe Try removing all ASPI drivers (including Nero's) and install ForceASPI: http://radified.com/ASPI/forceaspi.htm hardware error 52102 md5, Jan 27, 2005 #2 md5 New Member Joined: Dec 9, 2004 Messages: 854 Likes Received: 2 Trophy Points: 0 btw, another thing That error code you supplied usually occurs AFTER the actual error happened. Could you paste the whole log, or just the code before that? It might help in finding what is really going on md5, Jan 27, 2005 #3 Data1232 New Member Joined: Jul 8, 2002 Messages: 180 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 0 Oh wow, I really have to thank you, because it worked. Turned out that I had none of those ASPI drivers installed, and your suggestion did the trick. Thank's a bunch for the help! P.S. I should have clarified my original statement, the error occured after 5 or so minutes on working after I clicked "Build." First of all my setup does not at the moment include the RTX2 (temp removed to resolve other issues) So Pimarily I am running an HP xw 4600 Workstation (btw all to matrox spec) with CS4, Vista64, 8gb RAM (2 burners standard DL RW and a Blu-ray burner). All componets s/w and h/w up to latest versions/firmware. So far the system has performed well esp to Blu-ray. However exporting a PP4 project as an MPEG2 DVD and importing into Encore and burning to a standard 4.7 disc works fine. The problem is, having exported the project larger than 4.7 trying to burn to DL the burn process starts okay but ends promptly with an error Unable to complete due to Sense Code 52102. A colleague had this using CS3 in the same setupbut was resolved by reducing the exported file size, however on this occasion this does not work. Sense code 52102 indicates a h/w issue but all is up to date. Other suggestions are software interruptions but I have nothing in the workstation to cause this. to recap very basic PC with windows and CS4 and nothing else. Does anyone have any solutions to the problem of how to solve this problem thanks in advance Frank Back to top Matrox_Support_Sam(Moderator)Site AdminJoined: 04 Jul 2005Posts: 4136 Posted: Tue Sep 08, 2009 3:52 pm Post subject: Hi Frank, Since the issue does not seem to be related to Matrox drivers, I would recommend contacting Adobe tech support for additional information. Here is some Adobe forum threads for useful hints: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/400361 http://adobe.groupbrowser.com/t232515.html I will be moving your post to our General Discussion section for additional user feedback. Then I will just export to DVD folders in Encore. Then use ImgBurn (free) to burn the disc. ImgBurn will also help you locate a proper layer switch point. With such, you can eliminate burnning issue with Encore since Encore is quite unstable. Back to top mitche
