I had http://discussions.virtualdr.com/showthread.php?254377-Desktop-hangs-tried-Safe-Mode-without-Networking-stops-at-Mup-driver/page3 to reconcile all my bank accounts and I always back them up to the external drive. Remember that in my first post, I mentioned the external drive?: "Backing up to a week or two ago, I also noticed that when I tried to backup my Quicken files to my external hard drive, Quicken would hang and then the whole desktop would hang and I'd have to turn it off and back on and try again. Could this be related?" Well guess what....tonight I went to back the quicken file to the external drive (K). It usually defaults right to that drive however it didn't so I scrolled up and looked at the drives and K isn't there any longer. The drive is still connected to my PC. Could the drive be full and that's why I no longer see the drive listed? Could this have been the issue all along? Since I can't see the drive, I can't query how much space is left (or taken up) - is there any way to do this? Thanks so much, Nancy Reply With Quote November 11th, 2012,09:46 PM #33 Shinma View Profile View Forum Posts ------------- Join Date Jul 2000 Posts 4,765 No such luck.
