Hardware Error Sense Code
NEXT >> • Encore error: Sense Code 37202 by Janus Vinther on May 27, 2011 at 8:57:23 am When I burn a normal project with a normal DVD-menu (made in Photoshop)and 2-3 movieclips, why do I sometime get this error: "Encore was unable to complete the operation because of a hardware error (Sense Code 37202). Please contact the hardware manufacturer for more information." The project work perfectly and when I do the Check Project, everything seems to be perfect. The burning starts up normaly, but it ends up with the error-message and the DVD don't work. Hope you can help me with the problem. // Janus.Return to posts indexReport Post •Re: Encore error: Sense Code 37202by minu sharma on Jun 15, 2011 at 9:41:48 amHi This error is hardware related error , Either your burner is not recognized by encore or you are using a bad media . Sense Key = Harware Error Started by pkeenan , Mar 16 2011 04:32 PM Please log in https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/145/869653 to reply 14 replies to this topic #1 pkeenan pkeenan Newbie Members 2 posts Posted 16 March 2011 - 04:32 PM Folks, Anyone seen this bit of business? Just curious if it has anything to do with the amount of space you have left on your computer when you try to burn a data DVD. In my http://forums.support.roxio.com/topic/72213-sense-key-harware-error/ case I'm trying to burn a double density DVD. I received two error dialogue windows. They were stacked in top of each other. I was about 38% into the read/write procedure. "The drive reported an error: Sense Key = HARDWARE ERROR Sense Code = 0x09, 0x01 TRACKING SERVO FAILURE" "The drive reported an error: Sense Key = ILLEGAL REQUEST Sense Code = 0x21, 0x02 BUFFER UNDERRUN" Any chance someone knows the translation to these errors? I am much obliged. However, it could be that the drive revolted against the specific disc media (although that usually results in a Medium Error). I suggest trying again with a Verbatim DVD+R DL disc. If that also fails then the drive itself is having problems. I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blam

I get the following message after a minute or so of work: Device Error - Sense Code(3 0c 00) - Write Error - Write (DVD Error 199680) I have https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/STCMML8/com.ibm.storage.ts3500.doc/sref_3584_lslsda.html an AOpen DUW1608/ARR Burner, and I'm using Memorex media, but i usually end up with a coaster or the program just copping out with this error as the end result. Any thoughts as to what's going on. I have updated to hardware error the latest firmware, and I'm using the Tryout Version of Encore 1.5. Check it using this tool: http://radified.com/Files/aspichk_4712.exe Try removing all ASPI drivers (including Nero's) and install ForceASPI: http://radified.com/ASPI/forceaspi.htm md5, Jan 27, 2005 #2 md5 New Member Joined: Dec 9, 2004 Messages: 854 Likes Received: 2 Trophy hardware error sense Points: 0 btw, another thing That error code you supplied usually occurs AFTER the actual error happened. Could you paste the whole log, or just the code before that? It might help in finding what is really going on md5, Jan 27, 2005 #3 Data1232 New Member Joined: Jul 8, 2002 Messages: 180 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 0 Oh wow, I really have to thank you, because it worked. Turned out that I had none of those ASPI drivers installed, and your suggestion did the trick. Thank's a bunch for the help! P.S. I should have clarified my original statement, the error occured after 5 or so minutes on working after I clicked "Build."
