Port COM redirection Started by Alexandre Carvalho , 07 February 2012 - 06:06 PM Login to Reply Page 1 of 2 1 2 23 replies to this topic Alexandre Carvalho Members #1 Alexandre Carvalho 52 posts Posted 07 February 2012 - 06:06 PM Hello!
Com Port Redirection Citrix
I am having a hard time figuring out how to map com ports on Xenapp 6.5. I can map them through RDP, but when I run net use com1: \\client\com1: I get: "System error 66 has ocurred The network resource type is not correct" I think this error is because either the system detects there's nothing to map, or because I should to map to a drive letter and not to something called com1... If it's the first I can't get it why there's nothing to map. If it's the second, I've no use to map a device to a client drive... The citrix policies are set to allow com port redirection and this used to work on xenapp 5. Can anyone help me? 1360-301677-1617052 Back to top Shaun Ritchie Members #2 Shaun Ritchie 2,190 posts Posted 07 February 2012 - 06:53 PM Have you enabled COM mapping in a XenApp policy? The syntax you have is correct.----------Shaun Ritchie[Follow me on Twitter|www.twitter.com/shaunritchie_uk] 1360-301677-1617070 Helpful Answer Back to
