Adobe Premiere Out Of Memory
due to out of memory condition (Joe) Dec 8, 2008 5:30 AM Hi, system: Windows XP, 2 GM RAM, Indesign CS3 I placed two files in Indesign: the first is .ai (1.1 MB, probably exported form a CAD program), the second is .psd (53 MB). When I try to print to .ps file, Indesign displays the adobe after effects out of memory message: "Export error: error due to out of memory condition". If I: 1. export to PDF, everything is OK, 2. rasterize .ai in Photoshop, then import the resulting .psd to Indesign, print to .ps file is OK. Does somebody has an answer to my problem? 10975Views Tags: none (add) This content has been marked as final. Show 15 replies 1. Re: Error due to out of memory condition Peter Spier Dec 8, 2008 9:13 AM (in response to (Joe)) Try copying and pasting all the elements from the .ai into a new .ai file and resave. It could be something hokey about how the original was made. Peter Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 2. I followed your advice and copied everything from the existing file to a new one and imported the new file, but nothing changed. Even more, followin

It seems to be related to PageMaker files that were opened into InDesign. https://macosx.com/threads/indesign-out-of-memory-condition-printing-error.229609/ The same file can sometimes be printed from another computer. Larger InDesign files created from scratch do not (so far) generate this error. The majority of the machines are running 10.3.8 and have at least 1.5 GB of memory. Tiger was installed on the one laptop but the error is still occuring. Suggestions? Thanks! john #1 johnawine, Jul 6, 2005 biff1of1 uix_expand uix_collapse Registered Joined: May 22, 2005 Messages: 43 Likes Received: 0 A little more info plz. I have the PageMaker plug-in package installed. I thought it was a problem with the PM conversion, but I just did a search for the error and found this:http://www.prepressforums.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=894&view=previousThe file does use Optima. When I Get Info about the font in Suitcase X1, it tells me that it's an Adobe Font, Optima 1, Version 001.004. Like the guy from the link says, I guess I'll just have to deal with it until it becomes a real problem.Has anyone else run into this? Have you been able to get around/fix it? I could print/export to PDF but the Optima Type 1 fonts ended up all over the place. My work around was to change all the Optima Type 1 fonts to True Type Op

The page has ~5 images on it and a couple lines of text. One image (the background image) is at 15% opacity ...all of the other images are 100%. All of the images are Grayscale. I have even deleted the image with transparency and it still won't finish. I am running with the most current version of InDesign and I'm working on a dual 2.5ghz G5 with 4 gigs of RAM. ...oh, and I can export to PDF just fine. Anyone know what is going on?
