I defined the policies for each including I addresses and domain name. I automatically assign IP adresses to

clients as they connect from the DHCP address range. DHCP is functional on each client in that a connection is made and an IP ddress is assigned. However, I can only log on to the DNS domainby using the system administrator login (Microsoft Networking logon). This is how I confirmed that DHCP was working on each client. However domain name not available when I log off administrator and try to log back in with a registered user account, it says "Domain not available". Anyone experience this before? Possible that you are using cached credentials to logon using the domain admin account. Please make sure that your server points to its private IP address as primary DNS server and 127.0.0.1 as secondary one. Once done, run ipconfig /registerdns and restart netlogon on each DC you have. Make sure that the DC has one IP address and one NIC card in use. For client computers, make them use your DC as a primary DNS server, flush DNS cache using ipconfig /flushdns and make sure that needed ports for AD authentication are not blocked:http://msmvps.com/blogs/rexiology/archive/2006/04/05/89389.aspx This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights.
