The System Cannot Log You On Because The Domain Is Not Available
our domain and am getting the message "Domain not Available". Well... I am at the point of pulling domain not available windows server 2003 my hair out! The computer is a workstation - attached to our domain and with security permissions the same as all of the other workstations. The user account I am trying the system could not log you on. the domain specified is not available. please try again later to use is also a member of our domain and appears to be the same as all of the other users. I can use this computer to log-on as user "joe accounting" but not "joe marketing" I can log-on as "joe marketing" from another computer. So, please can some one tell me what's missing? Twice in the past month its given the dreaded error "The system cannot log you on now because the domain * is not available" Its worth adding that he is the only user on this laptop and it has never happened in the 2 years he has had the laptop. Also we haven't made any changes to the DC (running 2008 R2).
