They're working with XP SP2, 1GB RAM, 3.2 GHz processors. I tried increasing virtual memory, deleting tempory files (i seen that in another forum), windows updates, ACAD updates. I believe it is only with http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?44398-Fatal-Error-Out-of-Memory-Shutting-Down certain drawings. Does anyone have a solution? If you need more information, let me know. Thanks. Reply With Quote 2006-08-08,02:14 PM #2 .chad View Profile View Forum Posts AUGI Addict Join Date 2006-04 Location is it lunch time yet? Posts 1,129 Re: Fatal Error: Out of Memory Shutting Down ive gotten a couple of those, and generally can fix them by shutting everything down and rebooting. when you open the drawing, audit and purge it, and any xrefs in it. if those dont work im sure someone else here will have an option. What version of AutoCAD are you using? I have noticed people who have been using AutoCAD Map have had some similar problems when printing. Otherwise i would agree with chad and you need to reboot then purge and audit. You could be running to many applications at the same time, but i dont think it could be that. Hope you can find out what the problem is. Gareth Last edited by Spenner; 2006-08-08 at 02:20 PM. Reason: missed off some information Reply With Quote 2006-08-08,03:14

FATAL ERROR: Out of memory - Shuting down So the problem is this, all of a sudden, and after a couple months working with Autocad 2013 and Autocad MEP 2013 on my computer, this message has started to appear every time i try to open the programs, i have no option, since when i click to open this message pops up immediately. The idea of being a real memory problem is out of question, since i've been working with both programs for a long time, and especially because i have other programs installed that also demand a lot of memory, and are until now working perfectly, for instance Revit is working pretty well. My computer specification meet the demand of the programs, im running a I7 - 4GB Memory - 1GB Graphic Card, not necessarily the best computer in the world, though completely able to run those programs. I've tried to solve the problem by browsing the web pursuing an answer, among the things i have already tried are uninstalling/installing, creating another windows account, and cleaning regedit to creat a fresh start. None of those has solved my problem. Does anyone here knows or has any idea of what has happened? Has this happened to any of you?
