I have re-installed the game many times and verified my cache but nothing seems to be working. Any advice would be great < > Showing 1-15 of 116 comments TooMuchTuna View Profile View Posts 26 Jan @ 2:23pm Same problem here on Mac. Tf2 Error Out Of Memory
TF2 has randomly been crashing with the message "out of memory" appearing. This is the only game I seem to have an issue with and wanted to know if anyone knew of a solution? If it https://steamcommunity.com/app/440/discussions/0/458606877335032783/ is any help, I just replaced the RAM in my system (16GB) and had the same issue with both the old sticks and the new ones. I used to be able to get by this by setting hl2.exe priority to "High" in task manager, but even that is no longer working and the crash is happening more frequently. Because if it is the former, it cannot access more than 4GiB of memory. sham1 View Public Profile Search User Find More Posts by sham1 Find Threads by sham1 02-20-2016, 01:55 PM #3 Thurbo Join Date: Aug 2010 Reputation: 1836 Posts: 5,214 Go to your video options menu and untick "Color correction". That worked for me when this issue was introduced with the Halloween update. ^4 Gigs is more than enough, TF2 is just acting up. In fact, I have a 64bit system with 8GB RAM and I had this problem anyway. OS is 64-bit, forgot to include that in the original post Will try the color correction thing and let you know Edit: color correction was already apparently disabled Last edited by Wolfsterz:
