Windows Ran Out Of Memory Unable To Allocate Utorrent
in or register to update this issue We are having a MY Dashboard Portal and some time over a month it got hanged and its web portal windows ran out of memory unable to allocate bytes services stop working sometime we dont get ping reply. Now after restarting server we are able to access oour web portals. So when we check in our event logs it say some error like this : Event id 5. Error: File /home.asp Line 0 Out of memory. Unable to allocate required memory.. This error was marked as red or critical. Just before that there was a warning error like this: Warning: IIS log failed to write entry, Script timed out. The maximum amount of time for a script to execute was exceeded. You can change this limit by specifying a new value for the property Server.ScriptTimeout or by changing the value in the IIS administration tools.. Warning: IIS log failed to write entry, File //global.asa Line 84 [DBNMPNTW]Access denied.. . After restarting it also give another warning like this : The data buffer created for the "SAFileUpMon" service in the "C:\WINNT\system32\SAFUpMon.dll" library is not aligned on an 8-byte boundary. This may cause problems for applications that are trying to read the performance data buffer. Contact the manufacturer of this library or service to have this problem corrected or to get a newer version of this library. So could any one help me out in this.. Thanx and regards Ashish Comments Comment #1
The server was Win 2000 & IIS 5. Now we moved to the new .net servers - Win 2k3 & IIS 6.0. When we do a large file(200-350 MB) download it works fine. When there are more number of users downloading large files it crashes with the error - "Out of memory. Unable to allocate required memory" in the asp file which does the file transfer using SAfile up component. When we watched the Task manager, we could see that this is happens when the w3wpuses memoryabout1.4 - 1.5 Gig.And what happens is it spawns another w3wp thread https://www.drupal.org/node/206540 when this(Out of memory) happens. We do not want IIS 6.0 to spawn another thread as well. This is causing another error in our application because of an ISAPI filter we have which does not support multi threading.Main issue is why is the downloads failing at about 1.4 - 1.5 Gig?Any settings we are missing in SAfileup or any limitation of IIS 6.0 which cannot handle the load of 1.5 http://support.softartisans.com/Forums/PrintPost.aspx?PostID=1808 Gig?The Virtual memory is btw 2 - 4 Gigs. But it breaks @ around 1.5 Gigs.We tried with 3.1 version as well as 4.0 version of SAFileUP. Both are failing when the w3wp process uses 1.4 - 1.5 Gig of memory.Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as this is a PRODUCTION issue and we have to reboot servers every day when this happens!!!Let me know if you require any more details.rgds,natz. Posted by Matt on 10-04-2005 3:15 PM There is a Microsoft KB that sounds like it is related to this issue, but I can't be sure that is a solution. Another source of your problem may be that you are using two older versions of FileUpSe. I believe that in V5 we may be writing to the response in a more efficient manner. The best way to determine if V5 will solve your problem would be to download an evaluation copy and install that on your server. Eval Page Link The evals are full featured, they just expire on a monthly basis. You should be able to run it in your production environment without any problems or code changes. (Do make sure the TransferFile method is being used for the downloads) If you can con

Resolving 'Response object error: Unable to allocate https://bytes.com/topic/asp-classic/answers/902045-resolving-response-object-error-unable-allocate-required-memory required memory" P: 87 jmartmem Greetings, I have a webpage that, on the click of a button, generates a dynamic, Classic ASP-based result set that exports into Microsoft Excel. Some of my result sets exceed the virtual https://www.veeam.com/kb1857 memory maximum, and I get the following error: Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers Responseobjecterror'ASP0100:8007000e' Outofmemory /CIMS/ExportToExcel_TrkgCust.asp,line0 Unabletoallocaterequiredmemory. I've turned off the buffer, but it hasn't resolved the problem, and I'm seeking ways to resolve the issue without changing the metafile, out of if possible. Here's the first few lines of code to show the Excel export and turning off the buffer: Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers <%Response.ContentType="application/vnd.ms-excel"%> <%Response.Buffer=false%> I welcome whatever help anyone can offer. Jared Nov 16 '10 #2 reply P: 87 jmartmem I haven't because it's unable to allocate my understanding that you can't change the buffer size. How would I go about setting the buffer very high? Nov 16 '10 #3 reply Expert 2.5K+ P: 3,398 jhardman After writing that I started thinking that I was way off. You can turn the timeout way up... But that isn't the issue here, you need to look in iis settings. I'll ask an iis expert to look in to the issue.
