I've created features with my label the feature's geometry could not be modified. the coordinates or measures are out of bounds before but when i tried to create a new feature now it says: "The create feature task could not completed. the coordinates or measures are out of bounds."Do you know anything about this error? How can I fix this? Thanks, have a nice day.A.?akmakGeomatics EngineerAttachmentslayer repair error message.jpg8.0 KBbroken layers.jpg35.9 KBNo one else has this questionMark

The feature class that I've created is registered as versioned. I start editing and draw my polygons and when I finish sketch I get this error : The create feature task could not be completed. the coordinates or measures are out of bounds. My coordinate system is : Morocco North http://gis.stackexchange.com/questions/103307/create-feature-task-could-not-be-completed-because-coordinates-or-measures-are-o (Degrees) Tolerance : 0.001 meters XY Resolution : 0.0001 meters Any thoughts ? arcgis-desktop arcmap postgresql arcsde coordinate-system share|improve this question edited Feb 28 '15 at 23:18 PolyGeo♦ 39.2k1358144 asked Jun 26 '14 at 11:08 Gisel 98110 add a comment| 1 Answer 1 active oldest votes up vote 1 down vote accepted Try to check the environments, namely processing extent of your project. Maybe while drawing a new feature, parts of it are founded out of extent bounds. share|improve this answer answered Jun 26 '14 at 11:17 mikhukh 756 U mean the domain extent in the layer properties ? When I go there I have this XY Domain : Max Y : 900691796974,099 Min Y : -28128500 Max X : 900682280674,099 Mix X : -37644800 –Gisel Jun 26 '14 at 11:25 And I cannot edit them by the way, since the feature class is already created –Gisel Jun 26 '14 at 11:26 You will need to edit the extents of the feature class within ArcCatalog. –Erica Jun 26 '14 at 12:20 Not in layer but in the whole project: Geoprocessing > Environments > Processing Extent –mikhukh Jun 26 '14 at 12:28 I go there and I find Extent : Default. Should I choose instead : Same as display or which one exactly? And do I have to edit those values ? If so, what should I put and how would I m
Web Maps - CityEngine WebScenes → Jul 9 2013 GIS Tips - ArcCatalog coords are out ofbounds Problem: When loading data into into a feature class, you get the error “the https://dragons8mycat.wordpress.com/2013/07/09/gis-tips-arccatalog-coords-are-out-of-bounds/ coordinates or measures are out of bounds” This issue most often arises https://knowledge.safe.com/articles/472/esri-arcobjects-error-number-2147220936-coordinate.html for me when I am in ArcCatalog using the simple data loader tool. It can also arise when trying to import a feature class into a feature dataset, when creating new features during an edit session in ArcMap, or when performing spatial adjustment to move features to a new location. In out of each case, the error occurs when the extent of the feature class or feature database is not large enough to contain the new or moved features. The solution would appear to be “increase the extent,” however, it is not possible to change the extent once a feature class or feature dataset has been created. You need instead to create a new one with the out of bounds correct extent. I will show you how to do that, returning to the example of the Oceanic layers I used in my post about preparing layers for merging with model builder. Today, I would like to merge all my city point shapefiles into one feature class in my master Oceanic geodatabase. I have city points for Australia and Papua New Guinea. If I merely import the Australia shapefile as a feature class, and then attempt to load the Papua New Guinea points into that feature class, I will get this error message: One of the points is out of bounds! By displaying the layers in ArcMap, it’s easy to see what happened. When I imported the Australia shapefile, the spatial domain was defined as the extent of that layer. The one Papua New Guinea point that didn’t get loaded fell too far east of that domain. A good rule of thumb is: if you have a dataset that covers your entire domain, import that first and then load the other datasets into it. However, you often won’t. In that case you are going to have to take one or two
in Home / *FME Desktop / Home / ESRI ArcObjects Error Number '-2147220936': Coordinates Out of Bounds Export to PDF MitaAtSafe created · Oct 08, 2015 at 07:13 PM · edited · Jul 13 at 09:27 PM Article created with FME Desktop 2013 Symptom The following error is encountered when writing to geodatabase: ERROR |An error occurred while attempting to add a shape to a feature buffer. The error number from ArcObjects is: '-2147220936'. The error message from ArcObjects is: {The coordinates or measures are out of bounds.} Cause The ArcObjects error means you are writing data outside of the extents of your feature class: - if you are creating a new feature class the geodatabase writer will use the coordinate system on the first feature to determine the appropriate extents (and resolution) for the data. Data outside of these extents cannot be written. - similarly, if you are writing to an existing feature class FME will use the extents and resolution of the existing feature class. Data outside of these extents cannot be written. Resolution X and Y Values You can try to explicitly set the origin and scale values in the destination feature type parameters tab: Note that "X,Y Scale" is the inverse of the ArcGIS "XY resolution". Z Values If your source data has z values that are outside of the default range ( z > -100000 by default) try using transformers to adjust or remove the offending z values (such as the 3DForcer).
