Ok. It all started about a week ago, I was playing on my server, when Minecraft just froze. It stayed like that for a few seconds before it took me to a page (still in Minecraft) that said "Minecraft has run out of memory" along with some other more technical things having to do with Java. Has this happened to anyone else? And is this a problem with my computer or with Minecraft? This has not only been a problem with Minecraft but also Tekkit. Please help soon. This is driving me insane. It is recurring. I can play for about five minutes before it happens again. I'm thinking my computer might have been doing something in the background that caused it. I restarted my computer and I haven't seen it since. If you are getting this error a lot you might be using too many mods or something (high resolution textures?). If you aren't using mods then it might be time to upgrade your computer or lower your view distance. PS: this topic doesn't belong in this forum- it should be transferred to help.
