I noticed you have no replys. I've had the same exact problem with my Premiere 2.0 and have a similiar system as you. I have 2.15 hours of a wedding that I need to get done but I can't make it through the burn process

However when I cut the project in half (under an hour eac DVD) it burned with no problem. Try making two dvd's of no more than 1 hour each. Hope that works. I'm at the point where I'll either buy a burner program that can import my Adobe project or drop Adobe altogether and go with another editing program. I don't want to drop Adobe. I like the program but these little problems and the lack of support really tick-me-off. Trying to re-open it causes much stress though, but I usually achieve it somehow. I have a file, over 4 hours in length (video and audio), and have tried several times adobe reader xi out of memory error to 'burn' it to DVD. I didn't know you can't do this if the file will not acrobat reader out of memory error fit onto a DVD. I assumed you could easilly put it on a few DVD's. Not being of a technical nature, I'm now totally lost. The programme

Since I don't use Adobe, I'm not sure how it burns a video to DVD. But if it would burn the DVD if the file were less than 4.4 gigs, I say make your own MPG2 file. So instead of selecting to Burn to DVD, render your 4 hour video to MPG2 format. You will need to adjust your compression settings to turn what would be a 48 gig AVI2 video file to become a 4.4 gig MPG2 https://www.videomaker.com/community/forums/topic/adobe-premier-elements-4 file. But have you tried to burn less than the entire work of art to one DVD? Once again, I don't know the steps, but I know there is a simple way to use the NLE to select the first hour or so and then Burn to DVD just the selected region. Or to maintain as much quality as possible, you might need to render that selected hour of video to your hard drive, in any format you'd like. Then close that NLE project, load the hour of rendered video into your NLE and then Burn to DVD just that hour. One last thing, are you sure your computer has enough free hard drive space to do what you are asking it to do? You could have run out of memory on your hard drive during the rendering process. If you still want to try to burn the entire four hours to one DVD, then clear a bunch of memory space so the NLE can render the video. In closing, I'm guessing the real problem here is that you are limited in the amount of time you can render on one DVD. The easiest solution is to select only that portion on your EDL for the Burn to Disc function. Maybe someone familiar with Adobe can detail the actual steps to do it. And now I have hit a wall. I open up my project, I make one edit, it takes the system 10 seconds to make that edit, then i get a "you are running low on system memory" warning. I have had similar problems before but never to this extent. My system: Dell Precision out of PWS690 Windows Vista Ultimate Intel Xeon X5355 2.66GHz Quad Core processor 12 GB of RAM 32 Bit operating system NVidia Quadro FX 3500 graphics card My project: approxiimately 5 hours of footage footage is mp4 taken natively from Sony EX1 1280 x 720 progressive footage is stored on two external USB 2.0 HDs project is on separate external USB 2.0 HD 5-10 still jpegs scaled down out of memory to 2000x1331 pixels one After Effects modified clip- MOV file animation codec 1) I thought the stills were too big, so I scaled them down to no-greater-than 2000 pixels 2) I thought the 1.25 G MOV file from After Effects was the problem, but deleted from the project and saved the project under different name...no luck. 3) My preferences are set to Optimize rendering for memory. I know that I am not able to use very much of my RAM, because it is a 32bit system and I am running Vista. BUt when the problem happens and Premiere gives me the warning I am only hitting 1.8G physical memory use on my Task manager. I do have 17 sequences in the project. One for each chapter in the video and I also have a "workspace" for each chapter sequence to dump clips that could work for each chapter. The project file is 5.58 MB. Also, most of my footage is on one external drive (USB 2), but I imported two clips from a different external that is nearly full (869 MB free of 931 GB). The problems seemed to happen after that import, but I have
