Mysql Out Of Range Value For Column Decimal
Contributions [24 Jun 2005 11:22] Jon Stephens Description: See subject. This problem appears to be limited to numeric 1264 out of range value for column decimal types and BIT, but I did not exhaustively test all MySQL column types. However, CHAR, VARCHAR, and TINYTEXT worked correctly in this regard when I tested on the versions/platforms indicated. mysql error 1264 decimal Behaviour observed with binary releases 5.0.7-max/win32 (Windows 2000 Server) and 5.0.7-standard/linux (SuSE 9.2/kernel 2.6.8-24.11-default). Mysql2::error: Out Of Range Value For Column Rails
14, 2006 01:57PM Trying to LOAD DATA from The United States Board on Geographic Names (BGN) GEOnet Names Server (GNS), but getting "ERROR 1264 (22003): https://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=11546 Out of range value adjusted for column 'nFeatID' at row 1". Is there something I'm not getting about their files? I think they're UNIX format... here's the address. http://geonames.usgs.gov/domestic/download_data.htm I suspect there is something peculiar about the file format from this site that causes the LOAD DATA INFILE command to http://forums.mysql.com/read.php?10,115935 fail, but I am unsure. I also read that there is a bug or something that causes error 1264 on subsequent attemps to run a LOAD DATA command, but I can't find more specific info in the bugs or forums. Please help. Steps to produce error: Started Apache and phpMyAdmin, and logged into server localhost and database test.
