A 22 inch LCD, and a 15 inch LCD. The 22 inch refuses to work AT all, and the 15 turns on, displays the boot screen, then the windows startup screen, then a floating out of

Check that and read some here if it apply to u too. The message is from the monitor itself, not from the computer. It is advising you that the monitor refresh rate or scan rate exceeds that which the monitor can handle. An interesting issue, since it happens while in the game, but it strongly suggests that either the CPU or the Video card is overheating and causing a reset which is defaulting to the non accepted video output. As games are both CPU and Video intensive it could be either that is causing the problem. http://forums.techguy.org/games/431913-solved-frequency... m 0 l HugoStiglitz 5 October 2011 11:34:06 As Nikorr said It is either your refresh rate or resolution is set to high for your monitor. you can press F8 at bios and select "Enable VGA Mode" from the list this will limit your resolut

Reports: · Posted 7 years ago Top jd2066 Posts: 3814 This post has been reported. The message "Out of out of frequency Frequency" comes from the monitor. Not knowing why that would happen with that monitor, I can not really help much. I'm fairly sure the Windows 7 install uses a standard resolution and refresh rate like "800x600@60Hertz" at the minimum. If the monitor you have can't handle that then you should probably upgrade your monitor to a better one anyways to get a good experience with Windows XP, Vista or 7. Reports: · Posted 7 years ago Top maqsood Posts: 3 This post has been reported. I have solved this problem by using anthoer monitor (Philips 105E) and after i also have solved this problem with the 109S monitor with simple action. i.e i press F8 key and select the option to start computer with 800x600 monitor resolution. thanks anyway. Computer Monitors How to Fix out-of-Frequency Problems on a PC How to Fix out-of-Frequency Problems on a PC By TS Jordan eHow Contributor TS Jordan Follow Pin Share Tweet Share Email Save An out-of-frequency problem occurs where the computer is being asked to display an image at a higher refresh rate than is supported by the monitor. This is a hardware saving step, as displaying an unsupported refresh rate on a monitor can damage the components therein, rendering it potentially useless. Fixing this problem requires that you take a conservative approach, setting your refresh rate as low as possible. Restart the computer and tap "F8" as the computer is loading. Select "Safe Mode" and press "Enter." Right-click on the Desktop and select "Properties." Select "Settings" and click "Advanced." Click "Monitor" and select the lowest supported refresh rate from the drop-down menu. Restart your computer.
