| February 19th, 2015 | general The error “Your Automatic replay setting cannot be displayed because the server is currently unavailable” usually occurs when AutoDiscover feature has not been published or configured http://www.blog.edbtopst.org/resolve-error-your-out-of-office-settings-cannot-be-displayed.html and Outlook Anywhere has already been enabled. Check if AutoDiscoverhas been Configured or not using Test E-mail Autoconfiguration command At first run this command to check whether AutoDiscovery has been configured or not. Steps are described http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/rules/out-of-office-is-missing/ below to check the same. 1). Run the outlook and click on the notification area appearing in the bottom right corner of your screen. 2). Now click on the Outlook icon, holding CTRL button. 3). Now out of select Test Email AutoConfigration Fill the Email Address and password In the next window that will appear after click on the Test E-mail AUtoconfigration. Uncheck the option Use Guessmart. Now click on the Test Now check out the results. If you got unsuccessful results means AutoDiscovers is not configured for your email If you are getting the successful output, than the missing URL for the Out of Office (OOF) service is causing the out of office problem In case of successful AutoDiscover, verify your Out of Office (OOF) URL After a successful AutoDiscover check for OOF URL whether it is correct or not. For that look in the result tab of Test Email AutoConfigration for OOF URL. Look for the protocol group as shown below: 1). Disable the protocol Exchange RPC and enable Exchange HTTP when you are using Outlook internally. 2). When you are using Outlook Externally then use protocol Exchange HTTP After that now log on to OWA via Internet Explorer. Now in the address bar type OOF URL. You will get an XML information or service page if OOF services are available for the URL that you have given You will get an error 403 if services are not available for your URL. Now if you have confirmed that your OOF URL is wrong. You can contact with your Exchange Administrator to correct the same. Now what if your OOF fails with the correct URL: - That may happen due to the wrong credentials that you are passing to the Exchange CAS Server. Add the registry value to solve it: Manage Automatic Replies using Outlook Web App (OWA) You can also change your OOF message using OWA. Follow the following steps for the same: In Outlook 2007: To
SystemsHome / Outlook / Rules, Filters & Views / Out-of-Office is missing or grayed out Last reviewed on April 12, 2012 —No Comments The Out-of-Office Assistant is missing Out-of-office Assistant is for Microsoft Exchange mailboxes only. Look for it on the File menu is Outlook 2010 or on the Tools menu in older versions. Using your server's "vacation reply" feature allows the response to be sent when the message arrives, not when Outlook downloads it. If you don't have Exchange Server, you'll need to use the Rules Wizard in Microsoft Outlook or check out the alternatives below.
