Click on Tools. Click on About Microsoft Outlook. Click on the Disabled Items entry. You will see a Disabled Items window open, with the following information within it:The items below were disabled because they prevented Outlook from functioning correctly.Please note that you may have to restart Outlook for these changes to take place.Select the ones you wish to re-enable. If you see "Addin: outex.dll (outex.dll)" listed, click on it to highlight it and then click on the Enable button. Then

See the program documentation about how to use this extension" I recently came across the following error message when one our users attempted to enable their out of office message in Outlook 2003: Out of Office Fix To fix this problem you will need to perform the following: Shut down Outlook and open Windows Registry via Start->Run->regedit Then find the following node: HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftOffice11.0OutlookResiliency Export the entry key http://www.tek-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=1354810 listed under this node(just in case) and then Delete afterwards. I'm running windows 2000 server with exchange 2000, i have enabled to the use of out of office assistant emails on the exhange server. what i have down with the XP machine is i have updated everything. this did not work. i have unintalled outlook and reinstalled outlook and this didn't work.
