A message "Out of Scan Range" appears on screen, how do I play this game? Install the patch for this game, then you will be able to manually reset the game's refresh rate, which should solve this problem. The patch is available from:http://www.firaxis.com/support/support_detail.php?gameid=3&patch=1BrowseBrowse to the installation folder and open the file named "Civilization3.ini" and add the phrase "refresh=60" (without the quotes) on a new line in this file. Resave the file and load the game up again. Was this article helpful? 0 out of 1 found this helpful Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google+ Have more questions?
