He plugged it in, started up the computer which started loading up normally, then after about 10 seconds he gets the message 'Out of timing' plus some numbers and the screen goes blank! Always seem to be a few Techies on here so hoping some of you can help me fix it for him? When he added the other attachment it was then put into a different bit on the back of HD rather than the Monitor one.Reply7 years, 7 months ago#2ReplyNa the picture works (ie you see windows xp loading screen) then disappears after that and the error message comes up. The grub menu does not appear (meaning that I cannot boot into windows, which is the main reason this is annoying me), nor does the loading bar. After a short wait, the login screen of 12.04 appears. The same error appears when I press alt+F1-6 to enter a tty. Please help!!
