Your Out Of Office Settings Cannot Be Displayed Exchange 2010
version of Office 2010 last week. Now when I try to access Automatic Replies, it says the server is currently unavailable. Can anyone help. I don't think this is an Exchange issue since it https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2596516 just started happening after I installed the official version. I'm using Vista, office 2010 and my email is hosted with GoDaddy Exchange servers. Thanks in advance! You’re trying to open the OOF settings of different Exchange-account https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/office/en-US/e2e91b7d-499e-4e84-9e2b-12d61a615286/automatic-replies-out-of-office-says-server-unavailable-in-outlook-2010?forum=officesetupdeployprevious 2. Incorrect Auto-discover Service settings 3. Wrong certificate 4. “Enable Anonymous Access” is enabled in IIS on the EWS virtual directory. 1) In most cases, the reason for this error is that you try to adjust the Out of Office settings of User A, while you’re logged on as User B. As an Exchange administrator, you probably need to modify colleague Out of Office settings on occasional basis. Unfortunately, this is not possible since we have migrated from Outlook 2007 to Outlook 2010, you couldn’t modify Out of Office settings any more. Editing OOF settings by logging in with an administrator account resulted in the following error: “Your Out of Office settings cannot be displayed, because the server is currently unavailable. Try again later” Solution: Log in as user X, but then you will have to reset the users’ password. If the problem persists, you can also check if this article helps: http://www.proexchange.be/blogs/exchange2007/archive/2009/07/14/your-out-of-office-settings-cannot-be-displayed-because-the-server-is-currently-unavailable-try-again-later.aspx Please take your time to try the suggestions and let me know the results at your earliest convenience. If anything is unclear or if there is anything I can do for you, please feel free to let me know. Best Regards, Sally Tang Marked as answer
| February 19th, 2015 | general The error “Your Automatic replay setting cannot be displayed because the server is currently unavailable” usually occurs when AutoDiscover feature has not been published or configured and Outlook Anywhere http://www.blog.edbtopst.org/resolve-error-your-out-of-office-settings-cannot-be-displayed.html has already been enabled. Check if AutoDiscoverhas been Configured or not using Test E-mail Autoconfiguration command At first run this command to check whether AutoDiscovery has been configured or not. Steps are described below to check the same. 1). Run the outlook and click on the notification area appearing in the bottom right corner of your screen. 2). Now click on the Outlook icon, holding CTRL button. 3). Now select Test Email AutoConfigration Fill the Email out of Address and password In the next window that will appear after click on the Test E-mail AUtoconfigration. Uncheck the option Use Guessmart. Now click on the Test Now check out the results. If you got unsuccessful results means AutoDiscovers is not configured for your email If you are getting the successful output, than the missing URL for the Out of Office (OOF) service is causing the problem In case of successful AutoDiscover, verify your Out of out of office Office (OOF) URL After a successful AutoDiscover check for OOF URL whether it is correct or not. For that look in the result tab of Test Email AutoConfigration for OOF URL. Look for the protocol group as shown below: 1). Disable the protocol Exchange RPC and enable Exchange HTTP when you are using Outlook internally. 2). When you are using Outlook Externally then use protocol Exchange HTTP After that now log on to OWA via Internet Explorer. Now in the address bar type OOF URL. You will get an XML information or service page if OOF services are available for the URL that you have given You will get an error 403 if services are not available for your URL. Now if you have confirmed that your OOF URL is wrong. You can contact with your Exchange Administrator to correct the same. Now what if your OOF fails with the correct URL: - That may happen due to the wrong credentials that you are passing to the Exchange CAS Server. Add the registry value to solve it: Manage Automatic Replies using Outlook Web App (OWA) You can also change your OOF message using OWA. Follow the following steps for the same: In Outlook 2007: To set automatic replies in Outlook 2007 select Out of Office Assistant on the top right corner. In Outlook 2010: From the
