As you can connect your box via the cable by moving them, then I'd suggestbuying a suitably long ethernet cable to connect them in their normal lo

I am with BT for Telephone and broadband but the helpdesk was no help. It will not continue the install process because of error codes. Turns out if you buy the bt vision box off ebay or get given the unit, with out going through the sales process and receiving the box from new from BT they are unwilling to help. The vision has to be registered with bt before they will decrypt the unit, otherwise completely useless.Diagnostic information it asks for the: specify service address ? and box certificate Not available?Anyone had the same problems and manage to get around bt vision error this or as BT locked a very good freeview pvr unit to an unusable state!!!Any help would be great on this matter Back to top IP Logged pantsman28 Newbie Offline Radio & Telly Supporter Posts: 20 Re: error C01 & C03 Reply #1 - Sep 3rd, 2007 at 11:44pm Following up on this tread i have spent many hours on the phone to bt and many more searching the net for answers. To activate the box you need to sign up for another 12 months broadband and even then they will only send out a new Vbox. This means my current box is totally dead. I cant even give the box to my kids to use as a freeview box and pvr. With this in mind, some major floor in the design and BT is not even taking into account the recycling issues.!!!!
