It was installed on Thursday 19th August. After installation, broadband speed had increased, but the On-Demand service stopped https://community.bt.com/t5/BT-Vision-box/BT-Vision-Error-V04-after-installing-Infinity-Unresolved-after/td-p/42587 working –every programme came up with a V04 Error – currently unavailable. I tried the usual restart procedures – soft reset of the box, then full hard (power cable out) restarts of both the hub and the box – without success. I even did a reset of the powerline adapters, and they apparently work fine. Found this on the BTV forum website. Quote: Error V04, had this error constantly and received no help from bt vision support so started to try and find a solution myself. i am bt vision not an expert but it is now working so i will tell you what i did in case it works for you. If you go into the hub manager and selct the section for the firewall it will bring up a page giving firewall options, if you disable the firewall the service will start working. as i said i am not an expert but a friend who is told me that because i have bt vision error norton firewall on my compuer already this extra firewall is not needed and it is ok to turn it off, he also told me that the hub firewall was blocking some ports used by the on demand service and therefore stopped the video streaming. I have had no problems since i did this and i am sure that no software updates were installed between the time the service didn't work and started working. hope this helps somebody...laters And the reply from BT was: Quote: I'm pleased to hear that this worked in your case but must advise you that we recommend that the Home Hub firewall is left on. This firewall is in place to protect the Hub as well as the other devices on your network and the Hub should not be left unprotected in this manner. Open the Hub manager and select "Advanced", "Continue to Advanced", enter the username and password (both "admin"). Then, from the left menu in the Hub select "Application Sharing", "DMZ". A drop-down box will appear in the centre of the screen, use this to select "Unknown-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx" (where the xx's are the MAC address for the VBox) apply this c
