I was contacted with the offer of a replacement YOUVIEW box if signing up for 18 month contract and agreed to this.Sometime ago I also bought a couple of the Black Vision boxes and after booting them up disconnected the connection to the router and used them as stand alone freeview boxes. When the YOUview boxes arrived I used these as stand alone (no connection to router) and disconnected the old silver boxes and connected the black boxes all seemed to be working well until I returned from holiday. The boxes were showing a screen giving a number of options, sorry I know I should have made a note of the screen but can't remember, anyway they rebooted and went to a screen telling me they were updating with the usual if you see this screen for more than 5 min and error code NR01 then updating can take 20min and then error code BE01.If it helps at all one is a Pace DIT7431/05-2 s/n +060604 +1104367762 and the other is Pace DIT7431.06 sn 102

Almost every evening the box turns itself off and i wake up to this BE01 error and it tells me to phone a telephone number which no longer connects.I have phoned the support line previously but was given the highly technical advice of "switch it on and off" which infuriates me. I https://community.bt.com/t5/BT-Vision-box/Constant-BE01-Error/td-p/62136 would like a new and ultimately updated box from BT. Can someone on here tell me how i would go about getting one as i am sick of paying for a service which doesn't work nearly 50% of the time. Thanks Message 1 of 2 (1,248 Views) Reply minusdot Recognised Expert Posts: 1,521 Registered: 03-02-2010 0 Re: Constant BE01 Error Options Mark as New Bookmark Subscribe Subscribe to this message's RSS Feed Highlight this Message Print Email this Message to a Friend Report Inappropriate Content on 03-11-2010 14h49 Poolcue wrote:Hello there BT and it's customers.I am someone who usually sings the praises of BT Vision and feel that it is a really good service, however even i am getting a little annoyed at the performance of my Vision Box recently. Will they work as a stand alone PVR or is it bt vision essential to have broadband supplied by BT?
