Once setup I was very happy with

it, navigating the menu is now far more responsive than the previous box which was one of the main problems however after a week of using it I now have an error message of H1001 at the top of my screen. There's no picture displayed, only sound. The message informs me that my box/tv aren't compatible with hdmi and I should now use the a scart lead. I never had this problem on the old box and for a week

it was fine with the new box.I've rebooted the box and this doesn't seem to rectify the problem either. Is there a fix for this, other than using a scart lead? Ideally I want to use the HDMI as before...ThanksMark Message 1 of 8 (2,275 Views) Reply guilbo Guru Posts: 3,793 Registered: 28-01-2010 0 Re: HDMI Error H1001 Options Mark as New Bookmark Subscribe Subscribe to this message's RSS Feed Highlight this Message Print Email this Message to a Friend Report Inappropriate Content on 22-09-2011 12h31 There can sometimes be differences between the HDMI inputs on the TV so if you have another input try switching it. Also make sure the connectors are properly seated at both ends and try reseating them anyway in case some dirt is hampering a contact. I think it's possibly my xbox affecting is as it did happen after I've used it so I'll try putting the BTV box in standby before switching to the xbox in future and see how that goes. Message 3 of

That should rectify the problem. Life | 1967 Plus Radio | 1000 Classical HitsSomeone Solved Your Question? Please let other members know by clicking on ’Mark as Accepted Solution’Helpful Post?
