Not easy as the distance between them is usually longer than the lead, but moving them just made it possible. It booted immediately. When the box was up and running, I removed the ethernet lead and reconnected the powerline adaptors, and so far so good! Our broadband is now running fine. I went through the steps on BT's online help before phoning support - and it was India, not Newcastle as someone on an earlier thread said. Anyway, the guy had me go through a host of the usual checks before instructing me to reset the box. Still no joy - now http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1435053 an engineer will call (sometime). Not a happy bunny as I thought it would be quicker and more cost effective for them to dispatch a new box. Oh well, let's WAIT and see when we'll be reconnected. I am with BT for Telephone and https://stackoverflow.com/questions/28208054/2014-commands-out-of-sync-you-cant-run-this-command-now-query-was-working broadband but the helpdesk was no help. It will not continue the install process because of error codes. Turns out if you buy the box off ebay or get given the unit, with out going through bt vision the sales process and receiving the box from new from BT they are unwilling to help. The vision has to be registered with bt before they will decrypt the unit, otherwise completely useless.Diagnostic information it asks for the: specify service address ? and box certificate Not available?Anyone had the same problems and manage to get around this or as BT locked a very good freeview pvr unit to an unusable state!!!Any help would bt vision error be great on this matter Back to top IP Logged pantsman28 Newbie Offline Radio & Telly Supporter Posts: 20 Re: error C01 & C03 Reply #1 - Sep 3rd, 2007 at 11:44pm Following up on this tread i have spent many hours on the phone to bt and many more searching the net for answers. To activate the box you need to sign up for another 12 months broadband and even then they will only send out a new Vbox. This means my current box is totally dead. I cant even give the box to my kids to use as a freeview box and pvr. With this in mind, some major floor in the design and BT is not even taking into account the recycling issues.!!!! You say BT want you to sign up to a new 12 mths contract and send you a new bo
