XenApp Server install Error 10001 Started by It Admin , 05 March 2009 - 02:13 PM Login to Reply 12 replies to this topic It Admin Members #1 It Admin 19 posts Posted 05 March 2009 - 02:13 PM HiI uninstalled XenApp from my 2008 Windows Server (32bit) this morning as I have never been able to connect more than two sessions. This was partly due to TS Licenseing and this server not being a DC and my Domain is a 2003 domain.I upgraded my domain structure and made this 2008 server a DC on my domain, sorted out my TS Licensing and can now connect more than two sessions.I am now trying to re-install Citrix (PS5) - same as what was there before. The Access Management Console, Licensing and Web Interface components have installed OK. When trying to install the XenApp Server, it gets parts way through and then blows up. Event viewer shows the error:Product: Citrix XenApp Components -- Error 10001. Installation of Citrix XenApp failed....I have found issues on the forums but all relating specifically to 2003 server and/or PS4.0 & 4.5 I can't find anything to do with 2008 server and PS5.One suggested fix was to do with MSDTC (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/891801) stating to uninstall it, play with the registry, re-install, reboot and pray:). Have following these instructions. The server is behaving itself, all seems well, but the XenApp Server install still fails, same error. Is there any better logs than what is written to the event viewer which will give me a better idea of what is wrong? I do

Cannot install Access Management Console PS4.5 Started by ARMUS Ops , 05 June 2008 - 10:58 PM Login to Reply 4 replies to this topic ARMUS Ops Members #1 ARMUS Ops 13 posts Posted 05 June 2008 - 10:58 PM I want to install Web Interface but one of the requirements is to install Access Management Console. When I run auto.exe, I have the option to choose Access Managment Console and Web Interface. I received the error below;"Error 10001, installation of Access Management Consoled failed"I checked event logs and saw the same log. There was no indication of what I could do to fix the installation. Reading from the installation guide, the requirement to install for AMC are just >NET Framework 2, Windows 2003, and 30MB of disk space. What did I do wrong here? All I want to do is install Web Interface.
