Org.apache.catalina.lifecycleexception: Protocol Handler Initialization Failed
Tomcat startup, 8080 address already in use up vote 21 down vote favorite 8 The setup is: Amazon EC2 Tomcat (with secure forwarding to 8443) Apache 2.2 I run the shutdown.sh, and I get no errors. I've tried turning the computer on and off, reinstalling Tomcat, and repeatedly changing the server port values. Does anyone recognize anything in the following error code that might help me to figure out why the heck I can't get my server to work.
