have recently changed in the gpo (ie: windows update server location).. they have not changed when i run the gpupdate /force command.. still old values..If i do rsop.msc, the computer configuration has an exclaimation mark and the error in the subject is in the the error information tab under "registry".If i look in event viewer, system.. i see "the processing of group policy failed because of an internal system error".. eventid 1125 and this code below..Any thoughts on how to fix this ?Log Name: SystemSource: Microsoft-Windows-GroupPolicyDate: 10/27/2008 10:19:32 AMEvent ID: 1125Task Category: NoneLevel: ErrorKeywords: User: SYSTEMComputer: vpc-x86vista01.domain.localDescription:The processing of Group Policy failed because of an internal system error. Unspecified error" This appears to be a group policy issue, rather than a WSUS issue per se, so you might get better advice in a newsgroup relating to group policy. To clarify: you're removing the entries in this key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Mic the registry.
