Group Policy Results Wizard
using the GPMC console on Windows 2008 R2 Servers. When I click Finish to generate the report I group policy results html get this message: "An error occured while generating report: Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection. Parameter name: index" This same message
Gpresult /scope
is displayed for all three tabs in the right pane (Summary, Settings, and Policy Events). I tried to run this remotely and from the console and the results are the same. I don't have this issue with my Windows 2003 servers or Windows XP or Windows 7 PC's. Microsoft suspected something wrong to be with the XML file from the script. Removing the script fixed the RSOP issue. It was never proven what is wrong/incorrect with the XML file. We had to enable GPMC logging to review the log to see where RSOP was stopping. The log pointed us right the actual script running in the GPO.
