I first receive a Presentation Server License acquisition error (501), followed by a Terminal Service Access permission error. 0 Question by:coffeeann Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google LVL 19 Best Solution byBLipman The key is that you published the desktop, that is not restricted in any special way. If the user is connecting to a direct Custom ICA Connection it will be restricted to Administrators. The only things I did were publish the desktop to the user, Then go into the local server users group, Go into Remote desktop users group, and added the user. This worked fine for me. You may have some kind of policy set in citrix, or more likely, you have some group policy denying users access to the desktop. 0 LVL 19 Overall: Level 19 Citrix 17 Message Accepted Solution by:BLipman2007-06-13 The key is that you published the desktop, that is not restricted in any special way. If the user is connecting to a direct Custom ICA Connection it will be restricted to Administrators. To unrestrict this you can go into Terminal Services Configuration, open the ICA connection, go to the ICA Settings tab, uncheck "Non-administrators only launch published applications" under Initial Program. 0 Message Author Comment by:coffeeann2007-06-13 That was it!!
