Verified Answer Posted by theflash1932 on 11 Sep 2013 7:11 Verified Answer Verified by theflash1932 You probably have bad memory - or it just needs to be reseated. Remove all memory. Do you get a 1-3-2 beep http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/servers/f/906/t/19524237 code? Put in memory - ONE AT A TIME. Do this with all memory to find the bad stick(s). If none of them work, your motherboard probably needs to be replaced. You can also try clearing the NVRAM using the jumpers on the motherboard. Posted by Dell-Chris H on 11 Sep 2013 7:13 Verified Answer Verified by theflash1932 Abilay, SBE and MBE are Single Bit Errors and Multiple Bit Errors. Try taking the server to the minimum memory configuration and place dimm #4 in slot 2 and remove all the other dimms. Then power up and see if the server POSTs. If it doesn't then power down the server and remove everything but the following; System board Processor in socket 1 One stick of memory in slot 2 One power supply Control panel and backplane (to turn on system) Sideplane Both PCI risers; center slot and left slot If it POSTs normally under that configuration then individually add the removed parts back until the error returns and that identifies the problem. If you remove all the dimms (except slot 2)and it POSTs then we will need to clear the SBE/MBE

I have en Error E2110 on dell poweredge B1 & B2 ram slots. When i switch these one with another on the system, the error doesn't change of ram BANK, it's still the same that appear. When i remove RAM from B1 and B2, i obtain the E122a cpu vtt pwrgda. So i try to invert both processor on their slots ans still got the same error. I think that the real issue is on motherboard. What's your idea on this. Thank for your help by advance. There are a couple steps we can do to test. Could you power down the server and then removed everything but the following. System board Processor in socket 1 One stick of memory in slot DIMMA2 or DIMMA4 One power supply attached to the Power Distribution Board Control panel Hard-Disk Drive backplane (hot-swappable configuration only) Try booting under that configuration. If same persists then swap the dimm in A1 and the processor with one of the others. If both produce the E122a in proc 1, then the issue most likely is the motherboard. Let me know the results. 0 Pimiento OP borisjourdan Mar 10, 2014 at 4:44 UTC Hi Chris and thank you for your answer. Since my first post i had been able to make as you ask : - power supply only - 1 DIMM - Raid controller card removed. - Additionnal network card removed Technicin also ask me to test each power supply individualy and in each slot. In these test the computer tried to init 4 or 5 time (only trying to power on, not the OS) and then stop with another error. E123F VDD PS1 PowerGd I
