Making a 4:3 SD DVD with one button to play the movie. the movie properties are "MPEG-2 6.2Mbps 2-pass.m2v". I'm taking a button from buttons palette, linking it to the movie and when I run "Simulate" and click on the button i get the "Warning. Illegal angle situation. Only the main video angle will be simulated." Every time I click the button I get this.Been using DVD Studio Pro since the beginning and I've never seen this warning before. Any ideas? there was a fix in another thread (deleting then relinking the movie), but it didn't help. Keep all of you video in V1 only. Help? Reply Quote Marty Re: Illegal Angle Situation March 04, 2004 08:33AM Do they also have the exact same length? What were the encoder settings? What encoder? What program? Reply Quote Dan Re: Illegal Angle Situation March 04, 2004 03:45PM I used Compressor. But I think I've sorted out the problem, I must have done something to one of the markers but it worked fine when I rebuilt the track from scratch. I am trying to make a multi-angle clip. I have created two MPEG video clips in Final Cut Pro and rendered them in Compressor. I used the exact same compression dvd studio pro on both and they are both the exact same length in frames (interestingly though, one is listed at 1.04 MB and one is listed at 1.03 MB). I can add either to V1 stream. When I add the second to V2 stream, I get the error: "Cannot add the entire video asset. The Video Asset...is only usable up to 00:00:41:00. Us the first part of the asset anyway?" If I click "use anyway," a small portion of the second stream is added and I get the error "Alert Incompatible GOP structure. Last Valid Time Code at 00:00:41:00." I found that even though only a small portion of the V2 stream initially is added, I can take the mouse and expand that portion up to its original size. So I thought I solved the problem. However, when I go ahead and simulate the DVD, I get the warning "Illegal angle situation. Only the Man Video Angle will be simulated." I found that I CAN add the same file to both streams V1 and V2 without an error. Any ideas on how I can create this multi-angle clip? I have tried re-rendering the video (even makin
