My lip synch thread has morphed into this, and I really need some help here."Muxer Bit Rate too high" is really just a general error isn't it- I mean changing the rates has very little bearing on anything. All the clips on the timeline have been compressed with Compressor at standard rates anyway, the whole project is only 10minutes long. My current problem is that my project just won't build, but it gets so close. Latest incarnation ends with a jpeg and this is the thing that seems to be causing the problem now, even though the image has been used before without a problem. The weird part is that none of the jpegs show up- where they should be it just freezes the last frame of the previous clip until the next video clip shows up. So where are the images? The images are mostly used as chapter markers and buttons over video menus. Is this a clue to what the problem is? Apple provides Dolby 2.0 encoding which you should use as a starting point. Change the Dialog normalization to -31 and the Preprocessing Compressing Preset to None. I will try your settings but I have a hunch, it is the menu design...  I may have to really put some extra care in designing  the Menu...  I had no glitches until I finished the Menu layout & design come to think of it... Appreciate the settings advice I will give them a try before I redesign the Menu for the DVD. I burned off a dvd with out the menu's & it worked fine... I guess I have to maybe look at the bitrate for the menu's with the graphics, as my project is going into the educational markets I need to design a first play Copyright Statement & a Public Performance Rights License Statement that dissolve into a menu... Just need to find a way to design it properly...  I've been working with FCP for about six months, so I have a great deal to learn... My bitrate's have bee

However in the build process, when muxing track 1 it returns a Bit Rate Too High error. I have done everything I can to lower the Bit Rate in preferences (all the sliders are at the bottom). It is set for a 2 pass. I even tried to divide the (two chapter) project into 1 chapter each so that it would have to burn to 2 disks... To no avail. I dvd studio pro cannot get rid of the error message. I have dropped in the system and version info below I have been successful in burning many other projects, however this one has me stumped. The video was all prepared with Final Cut Studio and titling with Motion (inserted and edited into Final Cut...) Can someone help?
