DVDSP doesn't crash, it just stops. I tried the obvious of saving, quitting, and trying again but to no avail. Not really sure what the problem could be. I did test all my work in the simulator so I don't know if that would have made a difference or not. I also burned another similar project earlier this morning, so the system seems to be ok. Any ideas? Anyway I've got a 1.8 gig project with no menus that https://forums.creativeplanetnetwork.com/forum/final-cut-studio/dvd-studio-pro/51007-internal-muxer-error-victim has burned fine before. I made some small changes and recompressed my mpeg2s and now I get the Internal muxer error when it is Muxing VTS_01_1.VOBk. The strange thing is that I divide the project in half and I can successfully burn the first half or the second half, just not the total project. So my assets are OK. This would seem to indicate that I'm encoding too high but when I set all of the encoding preference to their lowest possible levels I still get the muxing error. I've tried reinstalling DVDSP, throwing out the PAR files, I have no chapters set, etc. Here's my Log Starting DVD Build UNTITLED... Compiler Initializing... MUXER internal Error on Build by Luke Sheridan on Feb 17, 2004 at 5:58:43 pm I'm getting a MUXER Internal error when attempting to burn. The build log shows this error but the encode log shows they all encoded successfully. The source movies are Media100 files. I'm aware of the incompatibilty issue with Media100 and compressor, but not sure if this carries over to DVD Studio. Anyone been down this road before? thanks, lukeReturn to posts index •Re: MUXER internal Error on Buildby Benjamin Davis on Feb 17, 2004 at 10:42:54 pmAre you using pre-encoded mpg-2 files or some other file (quicktime, FCP, mpg1, etc.)? I have found several people who have that same internal error which will encode some or all of the video, and not be able to complete the build or format. If this is the case try encoding your video manually, maybe using quicktime to find the file that the DVDSP encoder doesn;t like.Return to posts index•Re: MUXER internal Error on Buildby Luke Sheridan on Feb 18, 2004 at 2:49:34 amWell Quicktime6.5 is taking nearly 3 minutes to open a 1.2g MPEG2stream. I think thats a bit slow for a dual g4. It looked like it was locked up, even was red in the force quit list. But it did finally open. The other streams, all less than 500m took a bit of time to open. I had installed the new MPEG2 playback component prior to the failed build. The source files were all Media100 quicktime files. The only other thing i can think of that may cause a problem (and I'm new to DVDSP) is that the project was nearly at capacity, approx 4.6 gigs. It possible to MUX the files manually and then reimport them into DVDSP? Any help is appereciated, as I'm already past deadline. Does Apple offer call-in support? I guess i'll try in the morning.Return to posts index•Re: MUXER internal Error on Buildby Benjamin Davis on Feb 18, 2004 at 6:32:10 pmyou don't mux the files before build.
