But suddenly, when I try to burn a DVD, I keep getting a message stating that the "build failed" due to a "compiler file error." Any clue how to solve this? My sound file is a .ac3, and my video is a .m2v.Thanks! Generally, you should try renaming your m2v and then re-importing it and setting it into the track it is in. Also, try trashing the PAR files (check your preferences for the location of these) which get created when you import an asset. Finally, try simply re-encoding the footage and going from there (add a new name for it too...) Again, just guessing that it could not find that video file? Reply Quote af Re: Video File Read Error June 04, 2005 04:13PM I guess so. But the mpeg2 that came through Compressor plays fine through simulate. I'm sure it's some sort of dvd studio pro general message they expect you to guess at. I'm not sure what to do. Thanks.
