not found; Document has been deleted; archive settings Technote (troubleshooting) Problem When you attempt to access Archive Settings within your Lotus Notes 6 mail file, you receive the error: "Document not found" or "Document has been deleted" The organization's users have been recently migrated to a new Domino Domain, and their user IDs recertified under the new organizational certifier. The issue persisted even after the archive profile was deleted via LotusScript. Cause In this particular case, the issue occurred because an Archive Settings document and a Policy on the Domino Server were created by an Administrator who http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg1LO45142 was certified by the old organizational certifier. Resolving the problem 1. The Administrator should delete the Policy and Archive Settings document on the server and recreate them using an ID certified with the new organizational certifier. 2. The policy should be removed from the user's Assigned Policy field on the Administration tab of their Person document in the Domino Directory. 3. The user should open their Personal Name and http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21195206 Address book while holding down the SHIFT+CONTROL keys, open the "($Policies)" view, and delete the archive policy that appears there. Note: The policies shown in the $Policies view do not necessarily have to be archiving policies. If the user does not see any archiving policies or archive settings criteria when searching this view, they should delete the policies that appear in the view and restart the client. It is possible that the policies listed in this view are old policies, that could have been an archiving policy at one time, or had archive criteria associated with it at one time. If the error still occurs, then also delete the Archive Settings Profile document. For further information, refer to How to delete Profile documents manually or by LotusScript in Notes. The links between the mail db and the archive db are correct. I can navigate from one to the other with the link "tools - archive...". Despite my pb appears on Domino 7.03FP1 release, I reproduce it notes error archive by using different Domino releases (6.54, 7.02). I tried to used different DWA templates : iNotes 6.54, DWA 7.02, DWA 7.03, French template or default International templates. Each time I used a new template or domino configuration I created both a new mail db and its archive db. I used IE 6.02 or Firefox 1.4 and I still got the same results. I performed an LS agent that removes the "archive database profile" Profile document from the archive DB. I checked information from the mail db "archive profile" Profile Document and all information looks correct. Has anyone already met this pb ? Thanks for help, Philippe.
