It seems as though when you create an e-mail message via LotusScript & store the form in the document when mailing it, this error occurs if you've create a New NotesRichText item on the document and the size content of that field has exceeded the Notes limit, causing Notes to create a 2nd rich text field with the same name. The error occurs because the 2nd field has it's SIGNED property set to "True". Because Notes creates this field when needed, you cannot control that signed property. What I did was create a bunch of rich text fields on my form. Then I tell the script to use the 2nd field, 3rd field, etc. as I feel necessary. This is not a great solution if you're not sure how much data you need to send, but it is a workaround if you do know. Hope this helps someone else out there. generate Notes documents with data files attached. The applications worked fine . . . that is, until our department upgraded to Notes 4.5.2b (from 4.3, I believe). Now, the apps bomb with the error message, http://www.verycomputer.com/22_d54a9d5a27b0d6be_1.htm "Signature on Document is Invalid (inconsistent field signatures)." I have NO CLUE why these apps http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg1LO69027 are suddenly "broken," nor what this rather cryptic error message is trying to tell me! Searching Lotus Notes' knowledge base yields a lot of documents that really don't help much. I'm simply created a RichText document, inserting text from an Access form that acts simply as a "cover letter," and then attempting to send it (using OLE, notes error of course). Does anyone have any suggestions? ANY ideas, hints, comments, etc. will be GREATLY appreciated!
