Says I'm missing the AGP graphics card, but when I run the hardware diagnostics there is no problem with it. I thought FCE2.0 would work with the Intel processor.Any ideas how to fix this? MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.4.7) Posted on Apr 26, 2015 2:21 PM I have this question too Close Q: Final Cut Express 2.0 Configuration Error--Missing AGP graphics card All replies Helpful answers by MartinR, MartinR Jul 9, 2006 8:04 PM in response to userremoved Level 6 (14,891 points) Jul 9, 2006 http://forums.macrumors.com/threads/missing-agp-graphics-card.391167/ 8:04 PM in response to userremoved FCE2 predates the MacBook Pros (Intel based systems) by quite a long time. Other users have had similar difficulties. If I recall correctly, you can just ignore the error message. But search the Forum, you will find out what other people have done.I would suggest, however, that you upgrade to v 3.5 for your MacBook Pro. It's the UB version and runs much better on the Intel systems. Everything seems to have installed ok, but when I try to run the program it comes up with an error message "Hardware not found: AGP graphics card". I find this perplexing since the same Final Cut Pro ran just fine on my G4 500Mhz tower. I think my iMac G5 has an ATI Radeon X600 Pro card. Any ideas as to why it is looking for the "AGP card" or why it won't work without it? Is there any easy way to fix this? Is there some configuration in hardware or FCPro that I can adjust? Thanks #1 zeddeh, Jan 5, 2006 ElDiabloConCaca uix_expand uix_collapse U.S.D.A. You can manually get around this by editing the Info.plist file inside of the Final Cut Express application and editing out the key/pair for the AGP card. There were instructions on how to do this on the internet not too long ago... I can't find them now, but will keep looking, and in the meantime, perhaps some kind soul will chime in with instructions on how to do it. #
