Hold down the Option, Command, P and R keys and restart your Mac. Continue to hold down the four keys until you hear three start up 'bongs'. Then release the keys. --ken Newer Topic Older Topic Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum. Click here to login (C) by Ken Stone's Final Cut Pro Discussion Board.

While trying to install Final Cut Studio 3 I get this error. I tested iMovie as well, and I am getting a similar error about the Quartz Extreme capable video card. I have two ATI final cut pro Radeon HD 5870 cards in the machine, and that seems to be what's causing the problem. Here is the exact error. • Final Cut Studio Installer requires that your system have 128 MB of VRAM; this system has only 0 MB of VRAM. • Final Cut Studio Installer requires that your system have a Quartz Extreme capable video card. Has anybody seen this and figured out how to fix it? Thanks. Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!
